Deeper Show 006

A little more emphasis on tech house sounds than usual, with some straightforward dance music thrown in for good measure, Deeper 006 is still as deep as ever with tracks from Moe Turk, Clyde, Deeper Than L & Danny O, Mercury and many more. This mix includes the latest release from Addex (remixed by Jero Nougues, my very good friend who has delivered a stunning remix for my forthcoming EP, “Give It” – out next month on Haute Musique). Also in the mix is the new release from the Moti Brothers, the beautifully produced track, “New Love Ending” out now on Ready Mix Records. Stream Track List Moe Turk –Continue Reading

Strictly Limited Vinyl

Can’t Control The Way I Feel With remixes from Deephope, Phasen and Phil Maher Coming very soon from Soul Academy is a 12″ vinyl release, strictly limited to 250 hand-stamped, numbered units. This is very special, I promise. It was impossible to choose between the remixes, so the running order is alphabetical. They are all top drawer.

Deeper Show 005

Some top tunes in Deeper 005 with labels not represented before too. Kicking off with the fourth release from new label, Blackroom, SHVA’s “Breathe Baby” backs into Trentemoller’s “Moan” (not an artist you’ll find in a predominantly deep house set, but I love this track). This is followed by Deepdoon’s “Need for Communication” – the first of two tracks in this show lifted from the new compilation from Deepwit Recordings, Spring Moods Vol. 4 – a label which never disappoints.

Deeper Show 004

Deeper Show 004 brings new names to the regular Soul Academy mix including an absolute beauty of a show opener from Tommy Bones featuring Lydia Rhodes. Dropping into Alvaro Smart’s “Kool 96” – which really is – followed by “Simple Things” from Maya Jane Coles, the show cuts a neat path through the new UM Records release from Filter Bear and Luka Sambe (whose fabulous “Knee Pads” opened my debut show on DHR this week) to David Devilla and Elisabeth Aívar’s “Queri” – fabulously remixed by Nikki Lee. Along the way, you’ll catch another UM Records release – brand new from Phil Maher (remixed by DJ Deeka) – and tracksContinue Reading
